The Alpha Epsilon chapter house for the Sigma Chis will represent the new Greek standard of contemporary student housing at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, providing a superior impression of the more traditional Greek historical design while at the same time addressing with conviction the most contemporary and functional needs for the modern male student. The current chapter home should make an obvious and proud statement for the Sigma Chi core values of friendship, justice, and learning. Through a capital fundraising campaign, the following improvements are planned:

New carpet/flooring, ceilings, wallboards, doors, power receptacles, and lighting

Sprinkler and security system

Renovation of bedroom suites and bathrooms

Kitchen and dining room remodel, including new food-service equipment

Quiet, well-lit study area with new furnishings and wireless Internet

New entertainment room, complete with sound system, television, and gaming tables
